Bee.Recruit · built on Odoo 19 Community
Your whole search operation, in one place you own.
Every open search, every candidate, every client decision, in a single system. No per-seat licence. Your clients and your candidates get their own portal, and they cost nothing.
The starting point
You are paying four subscriptions to do one job.
A recruiting agency typically runs an ATS, a CRM, a scheduler, an email tool and a website, each billed per seat, none of them talking to the others. Published pricing for the ATS alone sits between $3,600 and $8,400 a year: Loxo at $169 per user per month, Recruiterflow at $149.
This instance replaces that stack. Odoo Community carries no licence cost, and the parts you are looking at are the same modules any Odoo installation ships with, not a private fork you would depend on us to maintain.
What is already running
Five apps, each for one person
These are screenshots of this instance, taken today. Nothing here is a mockup.
The finding that shaped the build
One person. Two searches. Two different stages.
Every agency hits the same wall: a spreadsheet forces you to choose between tracking the person and tracking the application. Odoo 19 Community already solves it: one record for the person, one for each search she is in.
The screenshot on the right is her own portal. She is in two searches at once, at different stages, and she sees both. You did not have to build that, and no one has to keep it in sync.

Community or Enterprise
What you give up, stated plainly
Community is the honest starting point. These are the differences that actually matter for an agency, not a feature grid designed to push you upward.
| Community (this) | Enterprise | |
|---|---|---|
| Licence cost | $0, unlimited internal users | Per user, per month |
| Recruitment, CRM, calendar, website | Included | Included |
| Candidate↔search separation, dedup, skill matching | Included | Included |
| CV parsing from a PDF | Manual capture | Automatic |
| Electronic signature on offers | External tool | Included |
| Document management with OCR | Attachments | Included |
| Mobile apps and official support | Web, self-hosted | Included |
And the part almost nobody prices in: portal users are free and unlimited. Every hiring manager at every client, and every candidate, can use this system without costing a single licence. On a per-seat ATS, that same access is the most expensive line on the invoice.
Room to grow
Community is the floor, not the ceiling
Everything on this page runs on Community, at no licence cost. Odoo also sells an Enterprise edition, and some of what it adds is worth real money to an agency. Here is the menu with the price attached, so the decision is module by module instead of all at once.
| If you turn this on | What it does for the agency | Worth it when |
|---|---|---|
| Subscriptions | Your monthly retainer billed on its own: recurring invoices, renewal dates, and what is committed for next quarter, without anyone remembering to raise it. | You bill a flat monthly fee. |
| Sign | Offers and client agreements signed inside the system, with the audit trail attached to the search. | Contracts start slipping between email threads. |
| Appointments | Your client picks an interview slot from your recruiter's real calendar. The back and forth disappears. | Scheduling is eating a recruiter's afternoon. |
| Documents | Contracts, CVs and client paperwork with text recognition and a workspace per client. | Compliance or audits start asking for files by name. |
| CV reading | A PDF becomes filled fields without typing. | Volume sourcing. A language model does this too, often cheaper. |
| Marketing automation | Bringing the talent pool back to life: sequences to people you placed or passed on eighteen months ago. | The pool is big enough to be an asset instead of a list. |
| Candidate messages in the channel they actually answer, logged against their record. | You work markets where email is the second choice. | |
| Studio | You add a field or change a view yourself, without calling us. | You want to stop depending on anyone for small changes. |
The part a sales page will not tell you
Odoo says it plainly in its own documentation: its hosted edition is incompatible with custom modules. The five apps on this page are custom modules, so the only Enterprise plan that can run them is the one priced above, and the cheaper one is not an option at any price. For three recruiters that is $1,800 to $2,200 a year in licences, on top of running the instance. Community keeps that at zero and every module above stays available the day it earns its price.
Being straight about cost
The licence is $0. BeeSmart is not.
Odoo Community really does cost zero, and you can verify that yourself: it is open source, published by Odoo. So let us be exact about where the money goes, because "free software" and "free to run" are not the same sentence.
What you pay for is BeeSmart: keeping the instance up (hosting, backups, updates, monitoring, security patches), support with a human on the other end, and this vertical already built and installed.
The fee is not metered per seat or per contact: adding a recruiter, forty hiring managers or five hundred candidates does not move it. What can move it is infrastructure. If the operation outgrows its server, that is a step we quote and you see coming, not a meter running every month. On a per-seat ATS the bill climbs precisely when things are going well.
How this is priced
Two lanes. Pick the honest one.
What you are looking at
The vertical
- Installed and configured, not custom-built.
- The same product for every recruiting agency.
- You are not funding the R&D: the second agency pays for the install, not the invention.
- Ready in days, priced like a product.
If you genuinely need it
BeeSmart Enterprise
- A normal implementation: discovery, process design, custom development.
- For operations that really are different from everyone else’s.
- Scoped and quoted per project.
- Most agencies do not need this. We will tell you if you are one of them.
If your operation looks like most recruiting agencies (and it probably does), you get the vertical at product pricing. If it genuinely does not, that is Enterprise.
It is running. Go in and break it.
